Sounds like I'm not the only one who found this great group of airmen through the recent ED post, but glad I did. I have been flying DCS for several years and within the past few years have started to get into it more seriously. I was with another flight squadron for a while & trained under a real Hog driver for some time... Even becoming a Flight Instructor for the squadron. However, as fun as that was, I was itching for a true MilSim experience and happened to find v303FG at the right time. The rest is history.
I have a background in aviation & the military, as well as instructing. I'm currently a Sport Pilot and fly when I can (which seems to be never). My military background is with the USMC as a 0311 Grunt (hence my love for the "Grunt of the Sky"). When I'm not bikepacking, bikerafting, packrafting, hiking, camping or on DCS (or MSFS) I'm usually teaching all things "science" at the High School & College levels. Name the science subject, I've probably taught it.
However (as most of you), my family is my pride & joy. Married for over 12yrs to my Bolivian Beauty and we have two awesome kiddos: Boy (9) & Girl (6) that keep us VERY busy.
As the title says, super glad to be here and looking forward to meeting you all & flying together soon. This really is the best of the best that I've come across over the years & I am very grateful to be a part of it.
