Hey guys, thanks for bringing me on here. Real name is Joe, I am a retired USAF guy living in the Dallas area. In the Air Force, I started out as an enlisted guy in Security Police, ended up getting my commission and worked as an Intel Officer with the 335th Chiefs F-15E squadron at Seymour Johnson. I then got a pilot training slot, ended up flying C-130’s at Little Rock for a tour before heading off to teach at UPT in Laughlin…. I went back to the C-130J at Little Rock and ended up retiring out of there. Plenty of deployments to glamorous places in the Desert. I am now a line check airman In the Airbus A320 flying commercially for the airlines.
My sim experience starts back with Falcon 3.0 and MSFS. I credit both of those to getting me into pilot training. I took a break from simming for a few years and came back to DCS about four or five years ago. I have experience in virtual squadrons with the AV8B, A-10, F-15E and F-16, still building my F-16 rig… hoping to get it done soon.
Outside of DCS, I dabble a bit in BMS and the new MSFS, I do a lot of iRacing with a virtual endurance team... I used to race a Porsche Cayman with the PCA, but as you can imagine that got really expensive, that is what got me interested back into simming. I also play a bit of golf, do a lot of Jeeping and watch an unhealthy amount of European football.
