Hello fellow pilots!
Since I've been focused on learning the Viper more recently, I was excited to see the ED announcement about the 303RD FG. So far I'm impressed by the level of apparent professionalism and excited for the opportunity.
I've been flying in DCS for a little over four years and while I do have about 15 modules, most of the time I have focused on WW2 and Korean/Cold War-era platforms.
I was born and raised in Colorado but was inspired by Jimmy Buffet and my love for seaplanes to move to Florida a while back.
I grew up in the airshow industry and while I am a commercial pilot, I fly mostly warbirds, seaplanes, STOL, and aerobatic IRL.
I am here to learn and look for entertainment, fun, and camaraderie. Hopefully, I have some value to add and help to give along the way too.

Welcome Pappy Pappy nice having you here - What part of Colorado are you from? I spent many years in Highlands Ranch and Parker area. Good times. That is awesome to meet someone with some airshow experience, any pictures to share of your warbird?

Look forward to chatting some more. Hope you have a blessed day ahead (y)

Born in Boulder, and grew up mostly in Lakewood, Denver and Broomfield. Ended up in Golden before moving to FL. Home field was KBJC, but did a bunch of work from KAPA, KBDU, KEIK and others. HR and Parker are nice, when did you leave from there? Have maintained and learned with many warbirds through the years, but this is the one that I've access to the most in recent years.

Was living there between 2008-2013. Good ol' Boulder, spent many days up there with buddies at CU as well. Thats a beautiful aircraft, reminds me of the Canadian "Red Knights" team.

Boulder is a cool, and wacky place.
Yeah, similar for sure. Flies quite similar too. I actually have flown one of the Canadian T-33 "Red Knights" team jets at Reno with an old friend, Rick Brickert. It was the year before the Pond Racer mishap.

VERY whacky... definitely up there with Seattle and Portland :ROFLMAO:

Oh wow, I bet you have some stories... would love to hear more eventually.
