Afternoon v303rd,
ChickenHawk huh? It's a long story from when I was younger but ill be happy to explain over a cold one or two in the heritage room. A little background, I'm a small-town country boy from central Alabama that has always had a love for aviation. Got into FSX as heavily as my parent's budget allowed when I was younger but lost interest when I started after my fixed-wing private rating. Sadly I learned that was extremely expensive so dropped out. Not long after I joined the Air Guard as Aircrew Flight Equipment on KC-135s and did that for 6 years, Couple of deployments handful of TDYs but decided I wanted more. Found an ASOS nearby and joined those guys to try my hand at being a JTAC but after a year in the pipeline I wasn't making any progress due to injuries so the Air Force decided to medically eliminate me. During all this, I picked up DCS about 2 years ago I think. I have flown mostly the F-16 Not very experienced in it but eager to learn. Excited to find a squadron that seems to be full of like-minded guys who have a passion for flying but also value your personal and home life. Ready to start learning the airframe more, build relationships and blow S*&^ up!
See yall on the ramp!
