The outstanding C-130J takes flight in DCS

We’ve just hit a very special milestone with the release of the C-130J by Airplane Simulation Company for DCS. Since 1954, this workhorse has been the backbone of Western tactical airlift operations. Designed as a go-anywhere transporter, the Herc has served in over 70 air forces and seen operations in numerous major conflicts such as Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The J model, was introduced in the 1990s, and delivered with a latest generation glass cockpit with Heads Up Display, new power plant and props offering massively improved performance and range, and generally enhanced capabilities. Iraqi map development progress

We are making steady progress on DCS: Iraq. Work has focused on completing the Iraq North region with clipmap refinements, corrected road and rail alignment, and more lakes. New airfields include H-2, H-3 Main, H-3 Northwest, H-3 Southwest, Al Kut, and Mosul airfields. Existing airfields have also received attention with refined embankments, fixed taxiway collisions, added ground support objects, and a more accurate water tower at Qayyarah Airfield West. We have also cleaned up open hangars of excess detail and unified settings so that all non destructible models are correctly flagged as Indestructible. Continue reading...

We’re excited to share our first instruction video for the upcoming DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum. In this MiG-29A Introduction initial episode, we discuss the key features of the Fulcrum such as its mission, engines, sensors, weapons, handling, and a walkthrough of its cockpit layout as reference for future instruction videos.
