CarnivorouZ
v2 CAB Student
Hey everyone. My name is Chase and in-game CarnivorouZ or more often just Carni.
Like many here, I'm also a veteran of the US Army. Joined up in '03 to '07 to travel the world and jump out of planes. Which allowed me to visit scenic destinations such as Ft. Bragg, Baghdad, and Mosul After Iraq, I was stationed in S.Korea until ETS.
I always had interest in helicopters but ended up listening to family prior to enlistment and not pursuing that passion. It wasn't until 2022, after flying only helicopters in DCS, that I decided to pursue my private pilot license for rotary.
In January of this year I earned my license. I also bought a "cheap" experimental of my own, a RotorWay Exec 162F that I had overhauled and a turbo added.
I have not been very happy with its flight profile and feels like I am not reaching a level of comfort with it that I would have liked in the year I've owned it. I've decided I want to sell it and move on to what I should have saved up for from the beginning, a Robinson R22; a machine I have 100 hours in and feels like a second skin.
Looking forward to getting some flight time with you all in DCS. Cheers
