Thank you for accepting my approach clearance to the v303 FG....
I am Steve, a.k.a. "Motown" and I Hail from Detroit, Michigan. I been flying flight simulators since Bruce Artwick and the "Sublogic Corp" days. Yes, seriously.... I am intensly passionate about aviation. I've been around and involved in several virtual groups, both "civilian" and virtual military. I really enjoy flying and simulating "as real as it gets" - sometimes to a fault. As "Barney" described, "Over time I've come to the conclusion that I've been looking for a place that takes their flying very seriously without losing sight that this is not a job but a hobby we all want to enjoy." And to date, I've been thoroughly impressed (and a bit intimidated
) with what I have observed of the v303!
I have a family history in aviation which encouraged my drive to become a real world pilot with a bit of airline training under my belt. I currently reside in the Washington DC area and have spent my life in 3 career fields - IT, Aviation, and Film / Photography. I've done a few things that I'd call different and exciting in my persuit of my happy life.... More on those stories to come.
Oh, yea. I also love mission building and planning.... (I guess I'm weird like that... [and proud of it]
