v303 FG Nevada Farewell Photo OP (Outbound to Germany)

The Virtual 303rd Fighter Group, as part of their farewell and rememberance of all the good times in the Nevada Test and Training Range, will conduct a virtual combat camera photo operation during their departure from Nellis AFB, Nevada, for a ferry flight to Spangdahlem AFB, Germany. The FERRY operation will feature a combined formation of A-10 and F-16 aircraft, capturing iconic backdrops such as the Las Vegas skyline, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and Grand Canyon National Park.

Once the flight reaches the Eastern Nevada airspace perimeter, all flight members are cleared for disconnect to simulate the long ferry flight journey ahead to Europe. These group formation photos will serve as public affairs and morale keepsakes, commemorating the Groups time at Nellis AFB and the NTTR as we transition to Germany for future training operations.

Wing will provide STPT/Flightplan template MDCs for all flight leads participating in the photo op. Chart departure and airspace restrictions have been waived for this outbound Ferry flt.

1. v303FS hold at EOR until all flight members are green jet, then cleared to takeoff first. v93FS hold at EOR until all flight members green jet, and A-10s are off the ground, then cleared to take off second. Rejoin on v303FS FL or at SHEET HOLD, right echelon.
2. Group formation will rejoin at SHEET HOLD, and will not push to STORA until all birds are airborne.
3. v303FS FL will be leadship in Group formation to ensure parade form cadence, with A-10s stacked up in Echelon Left.
4. v93FS FL will be trail-leadship in Group formation to ensure parade form cadence in sync with A-10 ias. F-16s stack Echelon Right.
5. Follow flightplan between LATN 500FT- 4000FT. Have fun!!
